Knauf acoustic tape is an elastic perimeter sealing tape , specially designed for use in drywall systems (partitions, linings, and ceilings in dry construction). It is a closed-cell polyurethane foam surface tape with a self-adhesive backing that acts as a decoupling and acoustic insulation element between the profiles and other building surfaces, reducing acoustic bridges and improving the overall insulation of the system.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Durable and flexible closed-cell polyurethane foam elastic perimeter band.
• Self-adhesive on one side , making it easy to place without the need for additional tools.
• Simple and quick installation by hand , without complicated assembly.
• Permanent elasticity even at low temperatures (down to -80 °C).
• Resistant to water, salt water, rust, UV rays, insects, bleach, mild acids and atmospheric changes.
• Anthracite colored , which allows its placement to be easily identified during construction.
