Latest technology design for maximum productivity

Tooth Design - Variable 4⁄6 teeth per inch design with a positive 10° angle offers the following advantages: Faster, more aggressive cutting. Improved heat dissipation during cutting ensures teeth stay sharper longer. Deeper and curved throats allow better evacuation and prevent clogging and overheating. The specially shaped angle of the teeth tends to snag less on thin materials. The teeth are arranged alternately to minimize jamming and friction. Requires less feed pressure – Achieved by the combination of aggressive tooth geometry and good chip evacuation, which allows less force to be applied during drilling

Tooth material - Premium high speed steel type Matrix II is used in the toothed area of the hole saw. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, which allows the tooth to maintain its original hardness, even at high temperatures when working on metal. Bi-metal construction – Laser welded high speed steel teeth into an alloy steel body. The teeth are then vacuum tempered to a hardness of 65HRC, at a temperature of 600°C, to achieve maximum durability. Due to the high wear resistance of Matrix II steel, these hole saws are ideal for difficult work in stainless steel and acid-resistant steels, as well as softer materials such as wood

Crown Body - The steel body is 1.27mm thick and is rigid to retain its shape, but also has some elasticity. 41mm effective cutting depth

Bracket Design - The back brackets are constructed of thick steel, so the crowns will not vary over time. These plates add strength and rigidity to minimize vibrations. Four fixing holes for easier spindle positioning. The backplates are perfectly round for good concentricity, an especially important factor for larger diameter hole saws.

Diagonal grooves help remove debris

Applications - High quality manufacturing techniques ensure high turning precision, making these core bits suitable for use with both hand and pillar drills (manual feed only)

The range of high-quality crowns are the perfect solution for cutting all types of materials: – Steel with a strength of up to 1000N/mm² – Stainless steel and acid-resistant steel – Non-ferrous metals – Cast iron – Aluminum – Wood – Panels medium density wood fibers (MDF) – Plasterboard – Sandwich materials – PVC
