Descripción
Monofinish is a one-component mortar composed of high-resistance cements, selected fine-grained aggregates, special additives and synthetic powder polymers, according to a formula developed in the MAPEI Research Laboratories.
CHARACTERISTICS
- By mixing Monofinish with water you obtain a mass that is easy to apply, even vertically, in a thickness of up to 2-3 mm per layer.
- Monofinish, thanks to the high content of synthetic resins, has excellent adhesion on all concrete surfaces and, after hardening, becomes a compact and resistant layer
- Monofinish complies with the principles defined in EN 1504-9 (“Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures: definitions, requirements, quality control and conformity assessment. General principles for the use of products and systems” ), as well as with the minimum requirements established by EN 1504-3 (“Structural and non-structural repair”) for non-structural mortars of class R2 and with the requirements established by EN 1504-2 as coating (C) according to MC and IR principles (“Concrete surface protection systems”)
IMPORTANT NOTICES
- Do not use Monofinish for thick repairs (use Mapegrout Tissotropico, Mapegrout T40, Mapegrout BM or Mapegrout Colabile)
- Do not apply Monofinish at temperatures below +5°C
- Do not add cement or aggregates to Monofinish
- For the protection of hydraulic structures and surfaces subject to abrasion, the use of Mapefinish is preferable.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Surface protection and regularization of concrete surfaces
