Descripción
Mapefill is a premixed powder mortar, composed of high-resistance cements, selected aggregates and special additives, including an expanding agent, according to a formulation developed in the MAPEI Research Laboratories. Mapefill, mixed with water, becomes a fluid mortar free of segregations, capable of filling spaces that are difficult to access. Mapefill, thanks to a particular expanding agent, is characterized by a total absence of shrinkage, both in the plastic phase (ASTM Standard 827) and once hardened (UNI Standard 8147), and develops very high resistance to bending and compression, even in the short term.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Optimal water impermeability
- Optimal adhesion to steel and concrete
- Optimum resistance to mechanical stress, even dynamic type
- Elastic modulus and coefficient of thermal expansion similar to that of high quality concrete
- Mapefill does not contain metal particles or aluminum powder
IMPORTANT NOTICES
- Do not use Mapefill for structural repairs by pouring into formwork (use Mapegrout Colabile)
- Do not use Mapefill for vertical applications by projection or with a trowel (use Mapegrout Tissotropico)
- Do not add cement or additives to Mapefill
- Do not add water when the mixture begins to set.
- Do not use Mapefill when the bag is damaged or has been previously opened.
- Do not apply Mapefill at temperatures below +5 °C
- Not suitable for breaking stones
