Idrosilex Pronto RPG from Mapei is a cementitious, osmotic and fiber-reinforced plaster, with medium granulometry, for the repair, conservation and maintenance of concrete, stone or masonry structures.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Idrosilex Pronto RPG is a premixed powder mortar based on cement, selected aggregates with medium granulometry, special fibers, synthetic resins and hydrophobic additives according to a formula developed in the MAPEI Research and Development Laboratories.
- Idrosilex Pronto RPG, mixed with water, provides a surface finishing mortar with a thixotropic consistency, which can be applied by spraying or with a brush, in
- thicknesses between 4 and 18 mm, characterized by a high level of impermeability and great adhesion to the substrate.
- Idrosilex Pronto RPG complies with the principles defined in EN 1504-9 ("Products and systems for protecting and repairing concrete structures: definitions, requirements, quality control and conformity assessment. General principles for the use and application of systems") and the minimum requirements of EN 1504-3 ("Structural and non-structural repairs") for class R3 structural mortars.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Idrosilex Pronto RPG is a ready-to-use premixed product. Therefore, no cement, aggregates or additives should be added.
- Do not use on flexible surfaces.
- Do not apply Idrosilex Pronto RPG when there is standing water in the substrate.
- Do not dilute Idrosilex Pronto RPG with amounts of water greater than recommended.
APPLICATION
- Once the substrate and mixture have been properly prepared, apply the mixture with a trowel or rendering machine.
- Idrosilex Pronto RPG can be applied in layers from 4 to 18 mm thick.
- Idrosilex Pronto RPG maintains its workability for approximately 1 hour at + 20 ° C. If work is interrupted for long periods, we recommend cleaning the tubes and all work tools.
CONSUMPTION
- 1.8 kg/m² per mm of thickness.
